(03:09-04:47) Stolen car crashed into a house in historic Columbus neighborhood
Columbus Police say a stolen Kia was crashed into a home on Bryden Road in Columbus' Olde Towne East neighborhood. The car crashed into the home's gas meter, trigger a brief evacuation. 10TV was able to confirm was person was arrested.
(04:48-09:10) CDC warning of salmonella in jalapenos
The CDC reports more than 340 people have taken sick across 27 states and 36 people have been hospitalized. Investigators says the peppers were grown in Mexico and processed by Coast Citrus Distributors. Chipotle and Qdoba have already removed affected peppers from their restaurants, but it's unclear if the peppers were sold in grocery stores.
(09:40-17:28) Businesses are fighting back after Buc-ee's sues a Beavercreek convenience store
Buc-ee's filed a lawsuit against Beaver's Mini Mart in Beavercreek, claiming the store's cartoon beaver logo was too close to that of Buc-ee's and that people would confuse the two. Beaver's Mini Mart is 15 miles from Buc-ee's Huber Heights store and has been there for decades. Now other local businesses have added beavers into their logos as an act of solidarity. An Upper Arlington bakery is selling cookies with the Beaver's Mini Mart logo on them with some of the money going to the store.
