BUSY weekend in central Ohio and chances of rain (00:35-08:25)
If you're bored in central Ohio this weekend, you aren't looking hard enough. The Ohio State Fair continues. Pelotonia kicks off its 18th year Friday evening. Thousands of cyclists and even more spectators will fill downtown Columbus to raise money for cancer research. Dublin Irish Fest runs through the weekend as well; filled with Irish food, music and culture. Saturday brings a chance of rain, but it won't be a wash out.
Pammy Maye offered a plea deal (08:26-10:32)
The woman accused of killing five-year-old Darnell Taylor in 2024 was offered a plea deal. She must accept the deal either Friday or Monday. If she doesn't accept the deal, her case will go to trial in August. If she takes the plea deal, she will plead guilty to aggravated murder and abuse of a corpse. She would face a sentence of 21 years to life in prison.

PAST Foundation Graduation (18:11-24:13)
Since 2000, the PAST Foundation in Columbus has been providing real-world experiences to students to get them ready for the workforce. PAST connects the classroom to scientific research. The Foundation graduated more than a dozen students Thursday. We are joined by one of the students and a program leader talking about how this has shaped the future of central Ohio students.
Pelotonia starts Friday (24:28-34:17)
Pelotonia was founded on one goal: together we can work together to end cancer. Over the past 18 years, it has become one of central Ohio's signature events bringing in more than 8,000 cyclists and 8,000 volunteers. Every dollar raised during the ride goes toward innovative research at the James Cancer Center at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Pelotonia CEO Joe Apgar joins The Big Picture to share his cancer story and the importance of the event.
