A man has been arrested after lunging at Dr. Amy Acton during the Canfield Fair and was found to have two guns and brass knuckles on him. The Buckeyes continue their streak of opening the football season with a win. According to the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office, Patrick Havas was arrested Sunday afternoon. The office says Havas went into the Mahoning County Democrat Party tent at the Canfield Fair and pushed through the crowd before being confronted by Acton's security detail of OSHP troopers and knocking two people to the ground. While no weapons were shown, authorities found two handguns and a set of brass knuckles on him after his arrest. Acton and Ramaswamy's campaigns, along with a number of other political leaders, have responded to the incident.

Crystal Paige, a Grove City first grade teacher, published a children's book to help parents navigate these feelings with their children.
